Ello, I'm Josh. Got the mini bug about a year back. Then with my savings bought Izzy the 1977 Leyland Mini 850, 43,000 on the clock and NO rust. For £650. One of those golden ebay finds! Got plans for her, hopefully will have done her up and got rid of her by the time I get my Japanese import. Can't wait for it.

As I got her..






Starting to sort out the miscoloured paint.. [ I didn't deface her! ]

As she is now, all the previous vinyl removed, and a black strip now stuck on the bottom. The M'lites aren't permanent, just bought some 10"x6" Dunlop D1s..



Planning on sticking some black narrow group-2 arches on, clear indicators, custom dash. Might paint the roof black, but not sure yet. Hopefully by the summer she'll look like a bee!

I bought Izzy for my girlfriend as I knew she really wanted one.

She turned around to me and said "Oh but I wanted a blue one."

Therefore, I want rid of her. She is lovely though. It's a shame but it just reminds me of the fact I bought her a CAR as a present, effectively spending my savings, and she didn't want it due to the colour! Anyway, Jap imports have aircon!

Oh Jap import mini . No rust and happily modified. It's a matter of the scouts out there find one, wack it on a boat and 2 months later I'm trying to remember how to convert km/h into mph!
