iv been searching around on the site and i cant actualy find any topics which mention which are the best engine side fans to use in term of efficiency, im sure iv seen somewhere people says that the 4 blade fans arent as good as people might say and that the originls yellow plactis ones are better

thanks for your help

i was going to have an electircal one also, but the car going to be used for tarmac rallys so it might get a tad damaged and i dont particualy want to damage the engine im planning on building due to warping

Ah, so no elec due to it might go kaput. Gotcha.

Well I always heard that 4 blade was best but loud. Could just get a front mounted rad and keep the exsisting plastic fan, if your going to be moving at speed.

i did think about front mount rad, i will be getting rid of the dizzy aswell so might solve a little space concern but its going to be 8port throttle body's with chargecooler so those will be taking up most the space id imagin

for maximum engine power an electrical one is best, isnt it true that a pulley one can cause resistance therfore a slight bhp drop? can someone clarify or is it myth?

there would be a BHP loss due to the fan making the engine work harder, i cant have electricle one realy as i said would possibly get damaged

Standard one is fine for just about anything. Had one on the 1425 and always kept the engine cool enough.

Moved.

i run a kenlowe electrical fan on mine as a suck thru directly placed on the side of the rad. flows more air than any mini fan i've ever experienced!! i dont have a fan on my engine, it gets used for endurance racing and i have no problems! some ducting to aid airflow cant hurt!
