OK, so I removed the side windows from my estate to replace the runners as these had more greenery than the average garden centre.... However, I can't seem to get the new runners and windows back in! I've removed the frame but the glass seems really tight.... Any obvious tricks of the trade that I'm too stupid to have thought of?

It will be tight. Put the glass upwards into the channels first as far as they will go. Then there should be just enough room to push them into the bottom channels.

There is also some useful info about rear windows on here...... Clubby Estate Register

No, you fit the channels and glass together, like it says in the manual.

Take the lower channel and fix it in place, then take the glasses and upper channel. You may need some assistance. Holding both glasses in the lower channels in the right order and both together a few inches back from the front, fit the upper channel onto them also a few inches back from the front and push the whole lot into the window aperture. Now slide the channel only forward until it engages at the front. When it is in the correct place at the front, slide both windows fully forward then pull the rear of the channel down slightly and let it pop up into place. Fit the front and rear channels then slide the rear glass to the back and fit its locking peg. Then fit everything else.
