Hi,

I have just bought a set of nudge bars for my Mayfair and was wondering how to fit the front one. I would guess that the bottom part feeds into the holes under the bumper but does the top part screw into the bonnet?

If you have fitted nudge bars to your Mini please let me know how it was done as I don't want to screw into the bonnet if this isn't needed.

Thankyou
Del

I've never fitted a set myself, but I certainly don't think you should attach the front one to you're bonnet. You'll never get it open again if you do?

I imagine it attaches to the front subframe mounts?

For example:-

lol oh dear of course, I'm such a muppet. Dont want the bonnet being screwed closed! lol

Are there screw holes under the bonnet either side of the bonnet release(or lock, the middle bit).
Maybe it screws on there.

Thanks for your help guys

if it's a wood and picket, it connects to the two towing eyes on the front subframe, if you don't have the towing eyes then you'll need to get some... The top bracket(s) are bolted to the slam panel ( this is the one the bonnet 'slams' against).

Brilliant thanks.
So I assume there is bolt holes on the slam panel? Or do I need to make some holes?

Cheers
