Just went to lock my door and the barrel came out in my hand. For a few weeks the barrel would sometimes turn whilst locking the door but it hasn't fallen out before! I've now got it back in but it's not fixed in place, and the door cannot be locked/unlocked by key. The key still goes in but the barrel just spins, and tries to come out when the key is removed. Do I need to buy a new barrel or does it fix in place somehow?

You have to strip the handle apart, the barrel has a circlip on the back end of it that holds it in place. The clip may have fallen inside the door. You might need a new one if it's been spinning, possibly even a new handle depending on any damage.
