Hi there all
I'm running a 1275 mg engine with twin 1 1/4 hs2 carbs with new jets, needles and springs (recommended via winsu).
But cannot get mixture any leaner as running far too rich. I have done all timing settings and checked 4 leaks.
Any ideas please as now starting to think about putting a single on it as last resort. (But it do look good with twins and as show car looks are nearly everything)

ok.

HOW do you know your running rich for starters.

Are the carbs balanced (either by ear or with a gunson jobbie)

What needles have you used.

Is the dashpot topped up?

edit

Also if bluemini turns up prepare to have your choice of carbs ripped apart. :dozing:
