water in car

i have removed the whole interior of my mini and i find that where the rear seats used to be it fill up with water?? i can see no leak and its definately not the roof because my headliner is fine so where can it be coming from???

Side window seals?
Have to taken the rear door cards out yet? there maybe a rusty hole waiting for you in the "gutter"
But I'd deffo check there, unless your seat pan has started to rot...

it could be coming thro the rear window rubber

it comesthrough the rear window rubber a little bit but only a few drips. i'll take the door cards off and take a look

It could be finding it's way in through the boot too?

how bout door seals?
when i wash mine i get puddles everywhere, changes the window seals solved some of the problem but the new door seals still arent big enough?
are there diff sized rubbers?

ginigwunkle if you adjust the lock, so the door shuts a bit more, youl get a better seal.

I had the same problem... I took the lot out when I was having my clifford and sound system fitted to make the running of wires neater and easier and the back was soaked....
It was the rear window seals.... Mine has the fixed, non opening ones.... 2 new seals and it cured the problem!!!

yeah rear quarter panels especially if you have the open type, i've changed mine, still got sunshins to do yet, damn something else to put on the to do list
