Which relay?

Are you sure it's not just the fusebox connections which have corroded? That's the usual cause of lights failure.

the switch that works the dip-dim on the dash sometimes gets a tad worn and all the bumps knock it out of whack a little.

Flick it out with a knife or screw driver un-connect (clean connectors with wire wool) un-clip the plastic case (don't break the clips) open it up (watch out for the spring) scrape the jelly off the copper connectors (thats conductive compound so u'll need that to go back on once your done)

Give the contacts a good going over and put it all back together again with a smear of the gel (if the jelly is all black its going to be naff so use the near to clear stuff)

Connect it all back together again and see if ote happens.

It costs sod all so its worth a go, sorted mine out. But do it at your own risk cus if you break it you'll be using a paperclip to turn your lights on.

Nate
