where is the best and cheapest place to get some paint mixed if i bring along one of my arches which is the same colour as the car??
and i could do it in 3 weeks yeah as its easter hols soon and ill be back from uni for 3 weeks.
and advice on how to do it best and where to get the paint from would be graet.

I'm gonna ssume you're not after a show class Mirror finish since it's Inside the boot, in which case,... here's how to do a simple paint job on the inside area of the boot. Just get the paint form Halfords.
Rub down the inside of the boot with soemthing like 400-600 wet and dry, till all the gloss of the existing paint has gone and you're left with a Matt finish.
Degrease the surface.
Spray on a couple of coats of primer (Rattle can is fine.), leave it for couple of days to harden.
Now bosh over it again with the Wet and Dry to Key the surface for the colour coats
Spray a light layer of colour, wait for 10 mins till it's tacky (read instructions oon back of rattle can for curing times) once it's tacky, whack another coat on, wait till tacky... add another coat. (these coats must be light, but must also cover well without getting runs, have a practice on some upright metal first.
Leave it for a week before polishing.... if you want to polish it at all.
Job's done.

And if its a basecoat type of spray paint, lacquer it after! retro is pretty much spot on there though. Although not sure about "boshing" over the area... I prefer to "flat" ahem..

 praise indeed!! :blush:retro is pretty much spot on there
hehe, yeah sorry I forgot to add, my little 'how to' above was assuming you'd just use normal Halfords gloss paint that doesn't require laquering...If it was me, I don't think i'd bother using a base and laquer on the inside of the boot,... having said that.. regardless of where you paint a mini... i guess you need all the protection from grime dirt and the element you can get... so it wouldn't be a bad thing
