Well my mate who drives a kitted nova drove into the back of someone the other night and smashed the grille, cut the radiator, chipped the bumper, bent up the bonnet and wrecked the lights. It was wet and he locked up the wheels, so he slid into a peugot. However he is thinking of floggin his car as it's dented bad cause of many passed incidents (reversing up a street with the door open and bending it back on a lampost
, driving into a ditch etc). Any way he has a decent (no brand name possibly splx) boxed sub and amp in the back. He might sell me it and is thinking up a price. How much should I roughly pay?? It sounds decent and is all i need. I might offer him £20. :cheese: Also how do I tell it's in good nick?? What do I need to check??

make sure the foam edge around the edge of the cone which allows the movement is not damaged. also if u take it out the box make sure the voicecoil isnt damaged either!

Yea, try and blag it first. Get him lashed up then offer to swap it for a couple of pints or something.
I once swapped a decent Alpine sub for 3 disco biscuits, which cost me £6! I sold it the next day for £50.
