Measure it and see if it'll fit, if it will, then all you need to do is sort out driveshafts, suspension, brakes and wiring...

whats happened to the 1425 turbo? that was gonna be a beast of an engine!

many many many moons ago (about 15 years ago, god i feel old =]) a mini was featured in CCC that had been fitted with a 2.0 lancia twincam/ 5 speed box (called a mincia and one of the very first 5 speed minis on the road) based on a clubby and that needed the rad in the boot and the front end widened by an inch and the track was increased (used a austin 1100 rack).

I do like the idea of using a intergraili engine, but I think it is a bit big and heavy. It would be doable, but ther may be a better engine to choose.
