Hi i have just brought some new seats which are too tall to come forward so there fore no one can get in the back and i also wont to fit
racing harness i have taken out the rear seat belts but not yet the rear seat i would like some ideas of what to do with my back seat as i am
not a fan of the metal showing and it would not look right with the rest of the inside so i was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what i
could do the cover up the metal and still fit my harness any ideas welcome love to hear them.
Thanks

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that you have to keep the rear seatbelts in the car if the rear seat is still in place...

The rear seatbelt rule does stand with MOTs.
the Mivic owner had trouble as his rear setup looked like seats, but wasnt actually a seat. And so the MOTer tried to fail it on not having rear belts.
Not sure how "up for it" you are> But if your not too fussed on making it a perminant 2 seater, you could alway cut back the rear bench and bins. And just cover it in "parcel shelf carpet".

One idea i had for Mini rear seats was Ford Ka seats in a mini as ive always thought they were pritty comfortable and neat looking,
What do you think?
Also seen two cobra bucket seats in the rear of a mini! not quit sure how this was achived

i think cutting the bench and bins away may make your car a bitless rigid. maybe not a good idea just a thought.
