** in fact I will go on... some paint shops even offer a Hammerite mixing service just like any other paint to any colour you like.

But can you spray hammerite? I read on a can not to use thinners. Wanted to do El Gordo in hammerite (or is that a bad idea) due to the straight to rust property's of it (not planning on spraying when there an ass load of very obvious rust. I mean areas that you can see or have to struggle to see).

its probably just cellulose thinners in a psh can but anyway. give it a go mate wish you the best of luck

I used normal cellulose thinners with hammerite when I painted my Mini. Paint was fine, even if my spraying wasn't. LOL
