Hi,

I managed to break one of the clips that holds the battery positive cable to the underside of the car. It looks as though it's rusted right through and the other one I can see looks in a similar state.

Just wondering if anyone knows what sort of clip thing I need to hold it on? and where the best place to get one would be?

Cheers,
Matt

"P" clips... any motor factor should have them, and possibly halfords....

There's a metal channel under the car running front to rear for the cable, you slip the cable into it and hammer it over the top. Not only does this support the cable but it protects it too. If your cable is old and damaged replace it first, it will short out if you put a damaged cable into the channel.

Thank you very much. I'll check the condition of the cable on my lunch break and then pop in somewhere on my way home to grab some P clips.
