Anyone know where I can get these?? I have a weather shield but don't have the brackets or the connectors.

Cheers

Still available new. AFAIK the only way to actually buy the brackets has always been to get them as part of a full kit. The clips are available individually as is the shield but the brackets are only in the kit. Other than that you'll have to go to a show or speak to a scrappy or used parts dealer.

Ok silly question.....

Does it go on the way it looks in that link or should it be the other way round?? I'm talking as if you were at the front of the car looking at the engine.

Yes the shield fits on as you see it in that picture and it is facing forwards.

Really?? Won't it miss covering the dizzy and just cover the edge of the alternator??

Also, can someone tell me where you connect the bottom brackets?

I got a kit with brackets from Moss for about £17.

I modified it slightly though as i didn't want it on the rocker cover bolts.

i've got spare top (rocker cover) brackets lying around you can have mate if that's any help at all

they could do with a scrubbing with a wire brush and a lick of paint but other than that they're fine, with the clip holder bit in too.

let me know and i'll stick em in a jiffy bag and send em out to you

I am planning to just fix some plastic on the back of the grille, in the centre. I would think that would stop most water from getting in..
