can you just take out the cones and bolt coil overs on where the normal shocks mount or do you have to re enforce the mounting point. and if so how do you re enforce it??

Certainly not a straight forward swap as the coil part will replace the rubber cones so you need to completely remove these which will put the whole weight of the suspension on the shocks mount so this will need to be seriously uprated !

As above, its generally a good idea to strengthen the top of the rear arches, and the area around the front shock mount.

The people who make the kits say you don't need to for road use. Most people who aren't making money out of selling them think it's a good idea to strengthen the area. The area behind the front shock mounting bracket could be double skinned and possibly seam welded round the crossmember behind. You might be able to just re-inforce the bracket itself. And probably fit the bracket with some meatier screws than the 1/4" ones fitted as standard or seam weld it on. The rear turrets are a lot more complicated.
