Right... I need to fix this problem properly..

My indicators work when they want. If they stop, the way to get them going again is to prod the relay in the top left corner of the engine bay. However... this is now a regular event... surely there is a more permanent way of fixing them? :)

Any ideas please??

replace the relay and connectors into it :)

looks like you know the problem

Like Bungle said, replace the relay and connectors to it....

your probably better off going to your local motor store with it and they should sort you out.

good luck, mine have been rewired blah blah blah and still broken.

Nah.. it's not like that, it's a 94 so it has a plastic relay in the corner of the bay..

i have had a similiar problem as of late, Dan sorted me out with some good advicde. the relay you want is yellow isn't it. Mini spares sell an exact replacement.m see the link below.

Hmm... yeah, that could be it.

I have just found the one that makes the clicking noise behind the speedo, but, like I said, it's usually moving the yellow one about that fixes the problem...

Yes, the yellow one is just a simple relay and NOT a flasher unit. You just need a relay by the sound of it. You can get them almost anywhere. Yellow Rover relays are known to be rubbish, so it could well just be the relay. While you have it out clean up its contacts in the relay base. If that doesn't help then replace the terminals. It's a standard normally open 4 pin relay.
