Just got the old girl running sweet after more than 3 years sitting in my garden...

when I go to put it in to gear i have to pump the clutch a few times, it had a new sleve cylender on it befor i took it off the road... after I have done thatm it seems to be ok but not being road legal yet i havent had a chance to test it out properly

I have a cooper 3 clock dash and I cant seem to get my fuel guage to read any thing, I have check the wires (and fuel) and hit the tank to see if it would work but no luck and I have a tempremental temperature guage too.... checked all the wires on that as well and i cant see anything!

Need 3 175/50 13's if anyone has any too :)

Ta!

Maybe the clutch fluid needs changing?

Try shorting the spade connectors on the fuel tank (with the ignition on) and see if the guage hits full. If it does then you have a faulty tank sender, if the gauge still doesn't read then it's a gauge issue.

There's no actual voltage stabiliser that can be replaced on Nippon Seiki Instruments (like on the old Smiths Instruments), so lets hope it's just the sender.

Also does your wipers still park themselves? If they don't then replace the wiper motor Park-Switch, because they cause short circuits when they go faulty and can cause blowing fuses or gauges to misread etc.
