Been thinking bout Marks idea bout the end of forum meet. And I cant see why we couldn't do this. Been looking at cheap hotels and you can get places for £25 a night, which isn't too bad for one night. We could make a weekend of it, go somewhere that's central to all, has lots of cheap hotels, and some good pubs so we can meet sat afternoon, look at each others minis then go to pub sat nite. Have a laugh, then look at minis more on sunday then go home. It would be good to meet up with everyone, espically now we got so many members joining.


As for places to go I think it should be Birmingham, its central, and also the Birth place of our minis??

What does anyone think. Obvisouly its up to the mini forum team, but its just an idea

Hey, after you got beaten up in Birmingham, I'm not going there!

I still think that it should be in Cornwall. I don't think that my Mini would make it past the Tamar.

I'm from yorkshire and work weekends, so it means alot of travelling and time off for me.

come on guys you all know that Christmas is a really hyped up time, you spend a whole load of money for one day!!!! go on live a little and have a mini meet with friends who r into minis, surely thats what its all about!!!

i think its a fab idea, i hate xmas, have done since i were a kid so i shal be out in Ermin most of xmas day and prolly boxin day too, as long as the roads are kinda clear!!

having something to look forward too (a meet) would be exelent

well....

just bought some 12" minilites!!

and a crome rocker cover

and a rev counter!

will be spending lots of time with my new love, mainly sorting interior bits, like sorting the tatty insides with some smootherite paint!!

and of course, when it goes wrong she will be fixed!!

just bought a purple bonnet for 99p off ebay!

dunno weather to do it matt black, or keep it white like the rest of the car!!

well i no we both cant afford it and also every weekend is taken up for us all the way up to, 2 weeks befoe xmas, and im sure they will be filled up too soon,

plus we are saveing u to hit next year big time for the shows.

but if you or anyone one else fancys doing this feel free to sort it, but we just havent time at the min.

plus we have something plan thats so so so good for the mini forum, in he new year, so dont spend all your money, save some for the shows.. :grin:

Come on then guys we can do this was thinking bout the date. 4th december is the saturday, so people can travel up to Birminhgham or if anyone has any other preferences for another location (I'm easy). then we got the weekend to do what we want, Im thinking a nice and relaxing weekend no early starts just chatting drinking and admiring our minis.

So if you are really interested for a mini meet p!$$ up for xmas then put your name down.
