What are the main differences between an A series and an A+? How do i tell visually between the 2 and how can i tell what mine is?

Yours is quite likely to be an A+ series. they have loads of differences but the main visable one is that the A series heads are flat on top where as the A+ has mouldings and bits.. easiest place to see is behind the theromostat housing.
