You need an oil cooler fitting kit. Get the right one for your engine and everything will be in it. Simple. You could add an oil thermostat to the setup though which will improve it massively since most of the time a Mini on the road simply doesn't need an oil cooler. This will not be in the kit but is very worthwhile.

Sorry for reserecting an old post but anyone know where to get one of these from I have searched & can't find one, I presumed rally spares type would have them, but of the ones I know they're not listed.

I thought they might & couldn't find them, looked again & found them typical! anyway they have one http://minispares.co....aspx?pid=35270 anyone any idea where the 4 pipes go?

Do you divert the pipe that goes from top of the oil filter housing to above the clutch housing through this & then put both sides of the oil cooler on the other, so it flows direct until the thermostat opens then diverts through cooler?

Would not know I don't use one if I want it to run warmer I put a cover on the cooler but looking at the thing you must have one going in as feed then to the cooler then out from cooler and on to the filter. Would think the top ones are in and out the bottom ones feed to the cooler in and out.
Ps the feed goes the other way from the top to the filter.
