Ive tryed the search but with no luck.

Could somone confirm that a 12G295 head would bolt onto a 998 and work? Am i correct in saying that i would need pocketing?

Sorry if I am asking out questions,

a STOCK! 12g295 can be bolted on no problems. IF it has had any valve work then you need to check 1st,

but the 12g295 just plonks straight on.

Ah well. Let me be specific. It will bolt straight on but you might need to have the head skimmed in order to give the correct compression ratio for your engine.

Head will give I think its somthing like 3 - 6 bhp a well ported head will give more like 10bhp. But when you get round to sticking a lumpy cam in then a good head pays dividends.
