My apologies for being a bit vauge, but I'll tell you what I can :D

It's come out of a 1300GT (11stud) engine c1970 that's been bored out to 1380cc
It's a spider drive.
And the only markings on it are on the pully end and it's just stamped 'KS'.

It's not much to go on, but can anyone assist? :D

Thanks for that, I'll have to get my German coursework books out :D

I'm still non the wiser really, do standard cams have a number stamped on them?
I've looked at mine again (in the daylight) and other than 'KS', there is nothing on it :D

From me measuring the lift on the lobes, it seems like it's almost 10mm (Just a gnats under), Is that alot?

Yours... Clue-less :P

Hahahah, it's not actually German, but Dutch actually :D I was wondering why I got about 16 hits inbound from this forum, but now I know why.

As for your question: I didn't make it. The KS is just a coincidence. What I would do though, is take an old CD or something that is round. Then draw some simples lines on the CD, for 90 degrees, 45 degrees and so on. At least then you'll know what the opening times of the intake and exhaust valves are. Multiply them by 2 to get the actuall numbers, since a cam turns once, where an engine rotation turns twice....
