Just wanted to tell everybody that I picked up my Suzuki Swift GTi last night.

J reg.
1991.
84k miles.
3 previous owners, the third one being the lad I bought it off who bought it and never used it.
Recent new gearbox, quite a common fault on the G13B gearbox, the mk2's are abit weaker.
Runs nice.
Not been messed about with.
Appears to have had a generally easy life.
White.
Goes like stink.
Good interior.
Bargain!

Cant wait to get started. Its officially going ahead now.

Yay.

You just cant get enough can you! like i said the other night, you always have to go one better haha. hows the crash repair going, all ok?

how are you going about building your frame if you dont mind me asking?

Do you need to cut a hole under the bulkhead for the gearlinkage like k-series v-tec and vaux conversions?
good luck mate, hope it turbs out as good as the car!

Looking forward to seeing the progress Jack, I saw the car on 16V forum, it looked pretty tidy. Keep us updated!

And yeah, moved to the correct section!!

All I shall say is... I took a look at the ECU tonight, with my torch, under the dash...

And oh my. I better read up on wiring.
