Hi im looking to get a suspension kit for my mini but have a couple of questions im hoping for some help on!

Im looking at getting : SUSPENSION PACK OF GEOMETRY ITEMS FRONT AND REAR from mini s pares

but has anyone got all the tools needed for setting the car up ie camber gauge, tracking gauges and cornerweight scales that i could rent?!

also would you recommend Mini s pares for the kit or mini sport?

minisport have far superior rear camber/tracking brackets, and kad rear brackets are in that same really good bracket.

minispares have the best bottom adjustable camber arm as far as im aware, u can havbe it either rose jointed of using original style bushing. they also have the best type of hilo, actual original hilos, if your planning to race these hilos are certified for race use and can take a car lower than any other type, thery also have hex key adjustment so u dont have to remove the wheels from the car to set the ride height, jsut put a long allen key thru an access hole to adjust them!

best bet is a mix n match! does make it awkward ordering bits.

Thanks for the reply! i will take that into mind, very interesting too, still looking for setup tools if anyone wants to rent them out!

I daren't do mine myself.... i'll be paying pitstop to do it at the same time as they do the rolling road.

Probably £200-£250 as i have a 1380 stage 4 with loads of mods, rear beam, coil overs and adjustable tie rods and lower arms and 13 X 8 wheels with 205/50 tyres ... so i don't have anything to compare it too to get it set up.

i do suspension work and have all the gear, am currently upgrading my gear...

if you still want someone to setup your car, then give me a shout..
