Now call me thick having read about roller painitng but the authors all assume a basic knowledge, I have non whatsoever so could someone please tell me what on earth it is and the benefits / drawbacks as opposed to rattle cans?

so its not using rolling your body around a canvas to make a painting???

damn thought i had it then!

only kidding, couple of good write ups on here about roller painting, guys in america do it too and some chaps on the VW forums, theres a dodge charge done in orange, looks fantastic

hehe. i did my old range rover in wilco's gloss and a radiator roller. came out ok and did it in no time at all. (p.s it was used for off roading so i wasn't after perfection)
