Today I discovered that the rear of my shell is in a very bad state indeed. So bad that its going to either need completely re-building with new pannels/mounts.

OR, the whole lot chopping out, and a Semi space frame Bolting in! :xxx:

I'm generally after a bit more info on a rear-space-frame...

Once the rear is cut out and the frame bolted in, what do I need to do about getting it all boxed in?
Is it a case of boxing the rear up like a floor? Using sections of alloy plate.

How much am I looking at for frame and suspension, hubs and whatever else I may need?

Where can I get such things?

For that kind of a job, you're probably looking at something custom done, from the likes of Roll Centre. To buy the tube yourself probably wouldn't be that expensive, I would have thought no more than £50 in metal. Then you'd need to box it off with sheets as you say. to be honest, I don't think it would be a massively hard job to do, since you don't really need to worry about suspension angles and such (if your going to keep the standard rear subframe mounting points), although some would say thats missing the point!
