Hi all, i have just had my needle profiled to my engine spec... however i have come into some money and would like to get a morspeed phase 2 cam (998cc with standard cam atm) i was just wondering if changing the cam would mess up the needle? would i need it profiled again/new one or it be ok?

Cheers Chris

In all likelihood, with the new/different cam the engine will breath differently and would therefore benefit from re-examining the needle choice/profile.

At the very least it will need to be checked on a rolling road. It could well change many things but whether or not the needle will need another change depends on how closely it has been matched to your current setup. There may be room for adjustment.
