Thought it was about time I started something on here.
So here's Jennifer.
Its a long and slow process as I'm learning as I go but I'll get there!

so whats the plan with the front end then?
Standard steel or a fibre glass flip front?

The plan is a Carbon Kevlar 2 piece round nose front end and boot floor. (Curley / Smudger)
Smoothed shell.
All being pulled by a 1.6/1.4 vauxhall motor.
But that seems so far off right now. So for now bodyword, bodywork, bodywork..... lol

Aren't those Bini lights?

Yup

Never understood the attraction of fitting Bini rear lights to a Mini. They are just the wrong shape, and don't line up with anything correctly.

I know It'll take a bit of faffing about (and possibly binning the idea) but I want a completely smooth rear. Hence the deseaming and I'm also moving the bonnet hinges to become boot hinges to keep it real clean.
That's the plan anyways.

Not as yet - Haven't had a chance to get to my garage and I've no got a digital camera that switches itself off every time you try to take a pic...
I've almost finished deseaming the drivers and passengers 'A' pillars.
I'm going to do the roof gutter aswell. Anyone got any advice (other than 'don't do it!). Is it worth removing the channels where the roof lining bars go and plating it?
I'll hopefully get a few pics up over the next couple of days.

Scuttle end repaired.
Drivers 'A' pillar de-seamed and a light skim of filler.
Smoothed dash rail.

Not much to report at the mo as I've not had much time at my garage and I'm still struggling with the bodywork.
Sanded out the filler
Marked out the passenger side scuttle to repair.
And started on a trial run of fitting the Bini rear lights (I've found a contour that the lights match which is a little higher that the original positioning but similar to the Bini) so time will tell!!!
