Hi, I have been working on my mini for some time and i fitted a set of Gaz coil overs all round.I also used the firmer springs that are available.
I have found the fronts to be very bouncy almost to the point that i think it would fail the mot as it feels as though the shocks are knackered.
They have been on for about a year but the car has been in the garage all that time so the shocks are like new. Ive tried adjusting the spring height and adjusting the knob on the shocker, all with no effect. Any thoughts ?

Yep, i'd be interested to know what the spring rates you are running are.
I think (although I can't remember off the top of my head) that the springs they supply in the kits are far too soft.
For the record I run 185lb rear springs and 350lb fronts. Although I am considering dropping the front slightly and fitting an anti roll bar.

The kits may be, but to be honest i've never looked at the kits. My springs have been bought separately from the likes of demon tweeks.
They are relatively cheap and choosing the correct rates will transform your car.

A series....KAD twin cam
Mine is pure race car though, for a more conventional road car you may be better starting with something like 250's or 275's on the front and 125's on the back.
