Right, Since I despise the new shape centre consoles available in just about every mini specialist shops, and every other item on Ebay, some of you will have seen my post in the 'wanted' section for the Incredibly rare and in my case, sought after, centre console from the 1100 Mini special. Well I've settled for second best, which is a form of centre console that was possibly an optional extra on 80's minis (?) (not sure if it was fitted standard to some minis or not... looks like an optional extra)

Whilst not pretty, it is a Rover part built to be fitted to 80's Minis. Foun it on Ebay and have seen one on there before but wasn't sure it was really what i wanted, however... for under a tenner inc P&P.. i couldn't really say no to this.

Now for the grand prize who can tell me where it goes  from looking at it... i think it sits underneath the heater matrix/controls... with the radio at the top... Hmmmm.

For the special bonus prize... who has one fitted with a picture they can post up!?
