Just watched this;

I can't see why you would need to use Metro Flanges, why can't you use the Mini ones??? They dont touch the calipers so whyyyy?

YES defo needed

due t the fact the hub carrier sits on the inside of the hub not the outside.

it spaces the disc out from the hub to allow room for the hub carrier.

i have some pocs somewhere showing the difference between the 2 types of hub

actually you use the mini type but you will need to get a spacer made up to move the disc away from the hub. not ideal and i am not sure about the safety issues associated with doing this.

i think purtsi on here may have done this

Yep. But I used normal metro drive flange that doesn't come out as much as turbo metro one as i have understood. I used a 2mm washer between flange and hub to push the flange a bit more outwards and it seems to work ok.

no. 1 choice is turbo ones as there you don't have to find and/or fabricate those damn washers. :thumbsup:

Turbo or any metro with vented disc', you need the ofset to allow the caliper carrier to mount correctly.
