I can't get my boot to lock, key turns in the lock but doesn't do anything.
Is there anything that would cause this that would be an easy fix or would a new lock be in order?

I had this, the lock housing has snapped due to the housing being a very thin die cast. i managed to fix mine but we don't know how damaged your lock is. this type of damage usually is the result of an attempted break in.

Steve (slyoldfox) is selling a set on ebay, although you don't really need a set, an individual boot lock can be very hard to find. (thats why i rebuilt mine)
