We called in on Chris today on our way down from Northumberland to see the mini which has just come back from the paint shop. It looks fantastic. They've done a really good job. The car is about 3 weeks off being finished. For those who have never been to Z Cars they've got a great set up there. The supercharged monster was sitting there, had a good look at that. It's fecking amazing. Our little boy got to sit in one of the minis which he was chuffed about. It was a bit of a detour for us but well worth it. Met Richard too which was nice having spoken so much on the phone. We're itching to get in that car. It's torture at the moment but at least we've seen it in the flesh now.

Sadly my camera has bust otherwise I would have taken some pics myself. Hopefully Richard will oblige soon with some of the new, shinier mini. The waiting is hell especially as Di has been teaching me to drive better. Had a blast in Northumberland - in a Vauxhall Zafira!
Nothing on the roads, lovely corners, and some of them just go over the top of these little undualting hills and down into hidden dips. The kids loved that - they called them the bouncies! Why did I ever leave? It's driving heaven up there. Apart from the bikes at weekends. >

Hi Rodders, if you pm me I can tell you how much we are paying for ours but every project will be different depending on how much work you're prepared to do yourself, what specifications you have etc.
