Hi
Weve just resealed the brake and cluch master cylinders, the brakes are fine, but the clutch is always bleeding air. its not apparently leaking from the slave or the master. the throw isnt enough to get it into gear when running. it was working fine before the master reseal. any ideas?
Many thanks

Have you set the throwout nuts properly? I know it hasnt changed since you did the reseals but this might be a factor. With the clutch pushed all the way down, is there extra space between the throwout nuts and the flywheel case or are the nuts pushed right up against the housing? Does the pedal feel spongy? Take a quick look at the slave cylinder to make sure the bolts are fastened... it could be backing up on the slave plate when pressure is applied... allowing the piston not to get full travel. It will be minimal distance but could effect it. Make sure that you have your brass washer in the bolt that feeds the slave cylinder its fluid. The washer will be on the head side of the nut. Give these things a shot and let us know. -Brandon

I had a similar problem...
I ended up using an "easy bleed kit" which basically uses pressure from your tyre valve, to push fluid out of a container through the system.. if you didn't already know.
That seemed to cure it.

I assume you made sure all the seals were pointed the right direction during reassembly and that none of them "rolled" during installation. Did you make sure the clutch hose ends were securely attached? How about the pipe that goes into the top of the master cylinder? Double check all the fittings and the hose and try bleeding again. As you know, it's usually the brakes where people have problems bleeding the system.
