I've just got back into Minis after a 16 year gap (I know, I aim to atone for my sins from now onwards).
I've previously owned in various states of repair (and disrepair)
1971 gold Clubman 998cc
1980 yellow 998cc (seriously died of tinworm)
1978 yellow Clubman 998cc auto
1969 green Clubman 998cc (rescued from a scrappy and put her back on the road)
1980 brown 1100 Special
1980 white/rust/primer 998cc
1983 orange 998cc (which I later found out to be a re-registered 1974 model)
1980 white 998cc
and over the last year to earn a bit of cash I've bought and sold two Minis, namely
1993 white 998c City E
1996 green 1.3i Equinox
I have just purchased a 1978 'butterscotch' Clubman 998cc auto which I want to change over to a manual so I can hark back to the good ole days I had in my first ever Mini, the 1971 gold Clubman.
I'll post a Wanted message, but anyone with a decent A series engine, gearbox and manual gearbox ancillaries (pedalbox, clutch master cylinder, gear linkage etc), or a complete car that the body is shot on, please get in touch, as I'm interested in buying.
Here's to ensuring that Mini stays in my blood from now onwards
Look forward to chatting in the future.
Regs, Desiren

Many thanks for all your warm welcomes.
PinkyGirly - got me there, it wasn't green I think it was metallic black....OOPS (I only had it for a few days as it sold straight away, and also the ole grey matter is letting things slip these days, lol)
