Has anyone seen/got one of these. It's looks pretty good. Am I right in saying that NO bulkhead cutting is required with one of these?

I have a Manifold kit in the garage somewhere. Yep no bulkhead cutting required, but you have to use a T2 Turbo.

Phil.

It was ur site that I saw it on :- A T2 turbo is all good tho isn't it? or maybe a T2.5 for a little more power. I like the idea of not having to cut the bulkhead.

Are the kits anygood?

doesn't look like a too complikated kit, any one have pipe bender, make afew copys up. i could do it if i had access to a half decent mechin shop and a turbo to work from. i've offen been tempted to see if i could make a repossioned turbo and mount it over the clutch area but it would take some making to get it all to fit.
Alex.
supercharger for me tho.

Mirage Motorsport

ooooo! I like the look of that. The main thing putting me off turbo power was the body mods.

I agree with pickup76, the main thing that always put me off a turbo conversion was the bulkhead mods. I had toyed with the idea of one-off manifolds draggin the turbine off to the side. But reading this thread has got me thinkin about turbos again :erm:

My bank will go mad! Hee hee hee.

Alex1380, I have access to a pipe bender, though I aint sure what minimum bend rad. would be on the required toobin'. I also have access to a serious engineering workshop. If you have plans then I know some guys who could make 'em happen. It sounds like you were thinking along the same lines as me with mounting the turbo at the side, over the 'box. Maybe we could have a play around with the idea and make a kit for the people???
