right, ive read your previous posts about push button starters etc and how you have to have an anti theft device if you have one and so on.

but my problem is that i am creating a mk2/3 mini and have bought an ignition that goes into the switch panel. however, i have a collum with a sterring lock and i wanted to know how i can take off the ignition and lock, i have a battery cut off switch in my dashboard which solves the anti theft problem.

so any ideas how i can remove the lock and ignition barrel?

Thanks in advance

Ed

cut mine off with an angle grinder and built it into the dash.

It's not hard, it's only held on by two shear bolts. Cut a slot into the head of each shear bolt and turn them out like screws.
