Not sure if I'll be there this year... might be at the International Mini Meet in Spain instead...

Mini World mate, not Mini Mag. Good advice about skipping Crystal Palace though, that's where everyone gets over excited and there's usually a few shunts there because no-one's paying attention to the road. Lots of pushed in number plate lamps!

I've done L2B for the past three years - if you want to do this then best bet is to camp over night at Crystal Palace - get up at 4am, move your car into place (near the front so quick exit) and go back to bed for a few hours. that way you dont get stuck in London for hours.

I think the application form comes out in march edition of Mini World.

Yeah last year was a bit of a nightmare, was a really sunny day so lots of extra tourists heading for the beach. Mega queues outside Brighton - and nasty crashes.

ah - but the idea is you go back to bed again before you wake up properly - can fit an extra 4 hours of sleeping it off!! The first one I did - I stayed up.......Jeeeez!!!! About 2 hours sleep, stocked up on caffine and drove down to Brighton - then back up to the Midlands.

Not a good idea!!!

Choc, you know we have fifty million Mini's so you can squeeze in one of ours. Hey you can come in Ches lol.

You don't have to party all night, although if you do go to bed early then you will have to be prepared for Pippy and Co to try and soak your tent.

Anyway it much more fun watching people try to drive down the steps at Crytal Palace.
