Removing the crank

Hi,

I'm trying to remove my crank, but i cant get the :( bolts off,shown here by the red arrow.

Moved to technical.

Start with the simple suggestions. Make sure you have the correct size socket and a breaker bar. After that - heat.

six sided socket. A breaker bar is all you should need. helps if you can steady the block with your leg or someone else to hold it.

Yer yer, maybe i slightly rounded two off!

Hmm..weetabix sounds good too.

But first, off to buy some six sided sockets rather than my old ones, thank you muchly!

Bolts undo anticlockwise :(

Use a 5/8" AF socket and a breaker bar.

Make sure you are not trying to use metric sockets !

Put the block on it's side so you are useing your weight to help undo the bolt.
