thats quite nice

first time ive seen a transverse mounted v8 in a mini though, it simply wont handle like a mini though.

looks a bit like a minus to me, but that might be due to the massive wheels...

I've seen these before, the best one is by a geeza called Viku Perala in Finland.
And it does handle like a Mini, very very well. The Rover V8 and Princess gearbox combination fits straight in a clubman with no body or subframe mods (other than engine mounts) and weighs less than the A series that it replaced! Doesn't feel over engined apparently at 3.5l, just loads of torque from low down like a supercharger.
HERE'S VIKU'S MINI
The one above looks quite poor by comparison, the engine is very far forward.

OMFG!

thats impressive, found some nutter from the uk who had done the V8 conversion, but looked nasty, bodywork was worse than mine :erm:

that looks wiked, uses austin princess gearbox (i think! if anyones interested)

still cant beat a bit of VTEC!
