Hello all,

A few questions I half way thought taking the front end off my mini while doing this I found the scuttle has a few spots well matured rot which is a bit of a problem but I will replace this with a new panel but I have a issue with so large spot on the drivers side about half way up the window where I can almost see in to the car but I cant find a replacement panel or information on how do go about repair it.

Also while messing around in the engine compartment I unplugged the alarm system since I didn’t know what it was until I reconnected them and set the alarm off ^_^ now can I just replace the system for a new one look at a toad one after read the review on this site

Thanks for any help peeps in advance

The Rover alarm should be inside the car rather than under the bonnet. Whether you can replace it depends on which alarm it is.

The panel you need is a full windscreen surround, it will include the scuttle too. You may be able to cut repairs from the new panel but it's probably better to replace the whole thing. The shell needs jigging when replacing this.
