I want to know the easiet way how I would be able to get more power out of a 998 lump without too much work/cost.

I was thinking exhaust?

And twin carbs? Or bike carbs?

Can anyone advise?

Cheers :w00t:

Don't go for twin carbs or bike carbs, they'll make things worse. and anyway a single HS4 SU is more than plenty :w00t:
If you want power without too much cost, then you'll need to look into natural asperation tuning.

Look up the book; "David Vizard - How to tune the A-Series Engine" or "How to modify your Mini" again by Vizard. Search helps too.

A very good service, oil change, oil filter, plugs, points, ht leads will make a world of difference, a stage 1 kit will be the second step... First, buy the book though... otherwise i don't know what big Adam will do!!! :w00t:
