Just tried getting the engine to start, but all it seems to do is splutter and stop, it doesn't want to fire up like normal. The engine has had a complete rebuild and I did have to replace the distributor drive in the engine. I checked number 1 cylinder near the rad was at TDC and the timing marks on the pully lined up and the distributor rotor arm was pointing towards the number 1 cylinder, so I take this as being correct. The car is getting fuel and there is a good spark, I don't seem to have a clue at the moment what could be causing the trouble. Any ideas??
