hi,
i have a gear problem in that i think im missing 1st or 3rd gear, as when i push the gear stick up it goes into a slot, but i dont know if it is the 1st or 3rd slot, and that there is no other slot for the other gear. The 2nd, 4th, reverse gears are all easy to find.
could it be very stiff because when i bought it 4 months ago it hadden't been driving around for 10 years.
can any one help!!

The minis dont have a centre return spring, so trying pushing the stick to the side and then up into gear.

There isn't a slot as such, it's a location within a selector fork, if you are in 2nd then straight up is first, and likewise 4th to 3rd...

to change across the gate, then there will have to be a physical sideways movement to change
