Orginal Smiths or an aftermarket TIM style one.

Both are fairly easy. Coved many times here.

Thats a smiths one. If you poke around behind your dash you should be able to find two wires. One is a bullet connector the other a spade. Get a 3 clock dash (GT's have these) and undo the old dash while keeping the speedo out of it to put in the new 3 clock dash. Bolt in the new dash and plug in the multi plug for the dash. Then connect the bullet and spade connectors to the rev counter. Need to add a ground for the rev counter too.

Job done.

Yep, was on my 82 ~El Gordo. Some people say there isn't but if not it's just a case of running 3 wires.

Not so sure there. TIM ones have diffrent connections......might work tho but I really have no idea as I've only ever used my smiths one.

If you figure out what each wire dose (think on'e power and one's a coil feed) and add a ground might work.

There's plenty of topics floating about, when fitting tim gauges are concerned.

Get some lenghts of 15amp wire while your at it. Just in case.
