Hi, i have a really strange problem with my car and am hoping someone has the answer, in the last week i keep losing all my indicators and brake lights because the fuse blows when i start the engine !!!! It doesn't happen every time but has happened 3 times in the last 2 days, luckily it also takes out the volt meter on the dash so i know its gone otherwise it could be really dangerous !!!!
Any clues any one ?????????

Have you had a new exhaust recently or had any problems underneath?

It's possible that the reverse light switch wiring that's mounted on the under side of the gear selector shaft is shorting on something?

Well the Brake Lights, Reverse Lights, Direction Indicators & Rear Screen Demister all run on the same circuit. Other than that you're fuse box might need a clean up or replacing?

update !!! thought the problem might be ignition related as the car has been running on a little bit when you turn it of so tried a new coil and it seems to have sorted it !!! Reckon the coil was shorting and giving out power surges that blew the fuse :withstupid: ;)
