i need some help i want to make a subframe up for a 2ltr 8v vauxhall engine for a k reg cav. has anyone got measurments to make one up. I have been looking at pic on the site and i want to use the back half of the mini subframe and cut it and make some sort of space frame on the front half. Oh it to fit a standard round nose mini as i dont want to extend the front any help would be cool.

As far as I know there aren't any plans. The best thing to do is as Ed4ran and Pandora have done; weld bars to the tie bar mount, making sure you can put the engine in place between them, then cut the front half of the subframe off, then with the engine in place and the hubs/suspension bits in place add metal where you need it.

if you dso build your own... why not make some plans up??? there's a great demand from people wanting to do conversions but they are scared of subframe building. personally... I'd just get the engine a welder ands some box section steel and go crazy.

As jammy sais,... the important bit is making sure the tie rod mounts and Rear towers are VERY secure befoer any serious subframe modification is made.
