Hi All,
I'm very happy to reveal I have a 1997 Mini Cooper and my wife has a 1992 Mini Mayfair - officially a 2 Mini family.
I couldn't think of better cars to drive around London in. We've been here 2 years, and love it.
The Mini scene isn't huge in Oz, but since coming here I have come to realise nothing but respect and pride in owning one (or 2).
I've done the Italian Job twice now see: www.italianjob.com. Last year as a co-driver, this year in my own car (that I bought off someone who used it in last year's Job).
I've "Gran Taurismo'd" it since then, with the addition of Cobra seats, new alloys and tyres, awesome sounding RC40 exhaust (especially in the Monaco F1 tunnel we passed through this year on the way to the 'Job), sound system and wait for it, a Webasto glass sunroof. (I had a sunroof in my car in Sydney and honestly feel claustrophobic now without one) - highly recommended.
I'm looking forward to participating in the forum - thanks to CharlieBrown for introducing me.
Cheers,
Andrew
