88 was what came i got a new one

do you recommend a lower temperature one for malta? where lowest temperatures in winter are about 10 degrees C and in summer we can even have 40 degrees C

You can easily get an 82°C one

that was my dilemma, 74 or 82... i think ill need to research here a bit more. right now the car is not drivable :P

I put an 88c one in my 1330cc. The engine and pipes got very hot to touch, so im replacing with a 74c one to see if it improves. I think unleaded and leaded petrol works best at different temps? Sure ive read that somewhere.

Could just use a bypass sleeve.
